The Digimon Card Game: Theme Booster Box - Classic Collection [EX-01] lets you relive Digimon history in its very first theme booster! This set pays homage to the classic illustrations from Digimon TCGs from the past and uses the iconic reference book artwork but within brand new cards that are playable in the modern game! It is the alternate art cards in this set that are the real stars as they completely replicate the Digi-Battle and Hyper Colosseum cards from the late 90s, right down to its borders and card icons but with the mechanics of the new game. The Classic Collection will inject new generic support for all colours, as well as specific archetype support for other decks such as Imperialdramon.

So in addition to the alt arts recreating the classic cards, there are some original takes on some cards too! They seem to give a nudge to the style of the original Digimon World games, taking the classic sprite on a simple 3D background surrounded by the original Pixel Art Digimon! Plus there is also a final alternate art more in the style of the modern cards featuring the terrifying MachineDramon!
